why do I care?
Because I spent too much time seeing men lead in ineffective, rigid, short-sighted, derogatory ways.
The uniformity has brought us much efficiency, but left us without humanness.
Yes, great technological advances were made during this last era. Now it is time for us to bring the human back to business.

There is a shift coming. We will be the ones to lead it. The time to prepare, is now.
I have made it my mission to use my experiences, wisdom, and knowledge gained to help caring and compassionate women leaders break and eliminate the burnout cycle, over come imposter syndrome, clearly see and develop, confidently lead, and comfortably expand their authentic, fun and fulfilling, prosperous and profitable dreams.

Speaker, Coach, and HealthCare Consultant Marinda Nelson experienced burnout after the first 18 years of her healthcare career, and she left the field. Years later, finding herself drawn back to HealthCare, she realized that her personal development, Leadership training, and coaching offered a way to break the burnout cycle she had experienced. With her personal stories of overcoming, she inspires and equips providers to develop, lead, and expand the authentic, fun and fulfilling, prosperous and profitable practice of their dreams.

​Examples of Results
- Developed the vision, team, and protocol to add Premium Surgeries. Resulted in an additional $90,000 for practice (1st revenue cycle), Also increased overall surgery cases by 30% and decreased provider stress.
- Process improvement and increase in team cohesiveness resulted in improvements in coding and billing. a previously missing modifier was noticed. When rebilled resulted in an additional $250,000 revenue.
- Doubled department revenue in less than 1 year and maintained an upward trajectory, with less work for providers, while increasing patient satisfaction and staff morale.

Back Ground
My younger sisters were my world running around that woods, and playing in the river in rural Wi where I grew up. Mom, always busy with many things to do to keep the home always appreciated the help I loved to contribute to caring for my sisters.

I had many doctors office visits from the time I was very young. I tried to never let my illness keep me down.
​
there are so many versions of this story to share. So many facets there isn't space to include them alll, so many themes that I could weave through connecting. Yes, I could share all of my overcomings and my acheivements, enticing you to work with me. Hmmm....
​
Also, I am a whole lot like a whole lot of you. I am a little older, had a few more experiences and chose to do some deep spiritual work and research and put it all together. Brave or crazy you can decide for you. Well, here we go a bit about me...

I grew up the eldest of 3 sisters in an idealic location in rural Wisconsin.
Marinda grew up with 2 younger sisters and her parents near a small town in rural Wisconsin. Even with the many days she spent in the doctors office struggling with severe asthma, allergies and Dyshidrotic eczema. They were unable to find any sustainable relief for her conditions until she was 15.
​
Her leadership experience, began with those younger sisters, training coworkers when she was 14, conversations with her father when she was 15, event center coordinating when she was 18, healthcare leadership began at 22, deep dive into studying leadership began when she was in her early 30's. (I was always a good leader, but didn't know what i was doing or why it worked.)
20 years of her leadership experience was in the healthcare field. This is still a purpose led focus and specialty for her.
​
Her career in the medical field began as a surgery coordinator in an ophthalmology office in Colorado in her early 20's. Over the course of her career, she held titles from front desk to provider.
She left the medical field to pursue personal development, develop her natural intuitive gifts and begin her Spiritual healing and authenticity/confidence coaching practice.
Spiral Coaching and Consulting is a blend of all of her studies and experiences. ​
